The North Guilford Nursery School Experience

Walking through the doors of NGNS, you hear children laughing and learning.  The warm smiles of experienced teachers greet you and your children every day.  You see artwork, creative expressions, photographs of families, and hundreds of words hung throughout the hallways and classrooms.  Books for small and big hands alike are within reach, as are paint brushes, crayons, glue sticks and craft supplies.  Puzzles, games, water tables, corn kernel tables, (sometimes even shaving cream tables!) await playtime.  There are foods to make, snacks to eat, juices to drink, and napkins to share with classmates.  Each day is filled with learning, and it comes from each other as much as the teachers and lessons. 

NGNS has 3 classrooms and a large central play/resource room.  A full library of childrens' books, including popular authors and Caldecott Award winners, is accessible to small hands.  An outdoor, fully fenced play area welcomes the children with slides, climbing structures, a sand box, and several areas for imaginative play.
