The ABC's of North Guilford Nursery School

Our school program is very flexible and relaxed. There are two sessions each day, Monday through Friday, which run from 9:00-11:00 am and 12:30-3:00 pm. There is outside play every day, weather permitting, and numerous field trips throughout the year to acquaint the children with their community.

Early childhood education is an ever changing and growing field and we at NGNS are always open to new ideas. We offer a variety of learning experiences to engage the children in exploring the world around them, to introduce concepts, pre-writing and pre-math skills, and an opportunity to foster socialization through play with their peers. Children will be involved in a music and library program, active and quiet play, exploration and discovery, individual and small group activities, dramatic play, experiences that promote self-reliance, both child initiated and teacher initiated experiences and varied choices of materials, toys and equipment. Our goal is to provide every child with a positive nursery school experience.
